I can't believe that I have not written here since November 2009. What? Apparently I ran out of things to say. That's never happened before. I am going to try to do this more.....more than once every two years. Yeah that ought to do it.
I am still researching RVs. I have narrowed it down to a certain style. A Pleasure Way Plateau http://pleasureway.com/plateau.php or a Winnebago Era, http://www.erarv.com/ not sure. There are really pros and cons about each. All it takes is one displeased owner and that opens a can of worms really. I want something that I feel comfortable driving and can take anywhere. Not too big, not too small. I would really like a used one. I want someone else to work out the kinks and then I will just enjoy it.
I think used is a GREAT idea, for the reason you mention. Plus, let someone else take the depreciation hit.
