I just heard that for the first time someone has designed a working laundry system for the International Space Station. Up to this point, apparently, the people working there were wearing their underwear for approximately three days and the jettisoning (is that the right word?) their underclothes into space. When the undies re-entered the atmosphere they would burn up.
I will never look at a shooting star the same way.....ever. Thank you.
