This morning, due to the time change, I woke up very early. People who think they have an extra hour to sleep just make me mad. My body knows what time it is and, sadly, wanted me to be awake. I always think it takes some time to get used to.
At any rate to expound on my chosen topics (and maybe add one) I am glad that I was up early it gave me the opportunity to take time for writing my food choices down. I take my lunch and often my breakfast to work with me. It is a money saver and helps me to not make cafeteria/vending machine choices during the day.
I lost 50 pounds last year working the Weight Watchers program. I reached goal and decided that I could maintain on my own. Ha! Although I had the right thought process but I went astray somehow. I decided that I need to ramp up my exercise program (or start one) and I join a boot camp style exercise class. It was awesome but I gained 8 pounds. Ok everyone says that it was muscle but frankly, 8 pounds is 8 pounds. And a year later that 8 pounds is still with me but it certainly isn't muscle anymore. I went back to WW to maintain, but couldn't get that 8 pounds off. I am sitting here this morning with that poundage still hanging on. I stopped going to WW because I felt I was throwing my money away. I am now on the blog weight loss program. Today I am eating homemade vegetable soup, one ounce of hard bread, Brown Cow plain greek yogurt and Fiber One Original cereal. I will go out after work tonight and plan to have one or two 64 calorie beers (basically water) and probably a side order of black beans and rice. I will let you know tomorrow.
Other stuff:
I want to own an RV when I retire. I am studying up about types and makes of RVs. I have subscribed to an RVing newsletter or two. There is great stuff about places to go and how to do it free. I will pass some items along as I find them. This is a process that I have just started, though I have long wanted an RV.
In order to get that RV I have a budget with sub-accounts for all my various spending needs. I have no debt. But that wasn't always the way it was. I worked hard at getting to this point financially. I don't have much but what I do have I worked hard for and did it on my own.
More for later.
Happy Monday
